Kavira IT derives its name from the Sanskrit term symbolizing ‘Insight’, ‘Intellect’, or ‘Wise Old Man’. This rich linguistic heritage reflects our commitment to deep wisdom and insightful solutions in cybersecurity and technology. Kavira stands not just as a name, but as a testament to our mission of guiding businesses through the complex digital landscape with unparalleled insight and expertise.

Kavira IT’s mission is to make a big splash among SMEs, particularly in the fields of professional services, digital, start-ups, and for purpose sector. By zeroing in on these niches, we can maximise our impact on small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) owners and operators and, by extension, their consumers.

There are a lot of forgotten or uninterested providers, exorbitant fees, or substandard services for the 97% of Australian firms with 100 employees or fewer. We are confident that we can protect and service the SME sector in a way that benefits both the provider and the client, all while offering top-notch industry support and customer care.

Billy brings over 20 years of expertise in management, business development, and customer service. In the past 6 years, he has played a pivotal role in launching and growing 3 cybersecurity consultancy start-ups, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and deep industry knowledge to help founders and customers.

Ryan Bernhardt

Technical Lead

Ryan is a skilled and passionate IT specialist with an entrepreneurial flair having consulted and supported IT infrastructure in Europe and Australia. With extensive experience in IT support and systems deployment, Ryan excels in creating efficient, secure, and scalable IT environments.

Michael has over 20 years experience working in Development, Security and Technology Operations. As an expert in both governance and enterprise security architecture and delivery, he provides a real level of expertise rarely seen at small to medium business level

Hassan is a skilled cybersecurity consultant in the energy and infrastructure industry. As a Certified Information Security Manager, he has consulted to and delivered enterprise cybersecurity projects for major infrastructure. He is also the Treasurer for the Australian Institute of Energy, advisor, and an investor in Kavira IT.
